Junior Regional Sales Manager

**This is a Salaried position working out of our Mississauga, Ontario location, at least 42.5 hours weekly. Hours are typically 8:30am to 5:00pm.**
**Primary Function**:
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will become the face of MAD throughout your assigned Market. You will be responsible for strengthening and maintaining existing MAD client relationships, while developing strong relationships and on boarding new MAD clients.
The Regional Sales Manager will be a customer-centric, detail-oriented professional who enjoys travelling for work, developing and maintaining relationships, and wants to be part of a successful team. Someone who is self-motivating with a positive “can-do” attitude, works well under pressure, and has the desire and willingness to learn.
**Qualifications and Educational Requirements**:
- College diploma, university degree or equivalent experience
- At least 3-5 years of sales experience, preferably outside sales
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (written and verbal) using tact and judgment.
- Strong organizational skills
- Applicable technical aptitude preferred.
- Industry Experience definite asset
- Experience in Manufacturing an asset.
- Exceptional planning, time-management, organizational and follow-through skills
- Ability to work with little supervision.
- Valid Driver’s license and good driving record required.
- Clear Background Checks - Credit and Criminal (required)
**Responsibilities, Skills, and Competencies**:
- Provide highest level customer service to all customers.
- Develop and build strong relationships with existing (and new) clients and work to increase customer loyalty and wallet spend.
- Build MAD Reputation through expertise and service.
- Identify new product/enhancement or market segment opportunities.
- Provide feedback and direction on MAD competitiveness in market in regards to price, product, service and quality.
- Actively define and execute sales strategies (as senior member of sales team).
- Be a role model for the sales team through proficiency and dedication.
- Onsite Support for assigned territory - Site surveys as required.
- Support to customer and MAD PM & Engineering for complex jobs (system and mechanical).
- Ability to follow-up, nurture, negotiate and close business in assigned territory.
- Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Territory Forecasting.
- 50%+ travel within their assigned territory.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Able to lift up to 15lbs; may work in hot areas 5%, noise 0%.
- Ensure adherence to Health and Safety as well as active participation in 5S activities in work area.
