**About the Role**

**Key Responsibilities**

Recruitment & Outreach
- Develop and implement student recruitment strategies targeting local families, schools, and parent networks.
- Represent Forbest Academy through community engagement, informational sessions, and family-centered events.
- Connect with prospective students and their families via local and international outreach opportunities and networks.
- Advise parents and students on appropriate academic programs tailored to their goals.
- Maintain follow-up communication with interested families to address questions and secure enrollments.

Relationship Management
- Build and maintain partnerships with local schools, education consultants, and parent networks.
- Support referral relationships through clear, professional communication.
- Provide a welcoming experience for all prospective families, reflecting Forbest Academy’s standard of excellence.

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of experience in student recruitment, school engagement, or other client-facing roles.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage confidently with parents, students, and educators.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with Metro Vancouver’s education landscape and knowledge of the BC curriculum, AP, and IB programs is an asset.
- Fluent in **English and Mandarin or Cantonese** to communicate effectively with students, families, and colleagues.
- Must reside in the Greater Vancouver Area and be legally authorized to work in Canada.

- What is your level of fluency in English and Mandarin/Cantonese? Please indicate whether you are a Beginner, Intermediate, Advanced, or Native speaker for each language.
- Please describe your general availability on weekdays and weekends. This will help us schedule a phone screening and/or interview.
- We have offices in Richmond and Vancouver. Which location do you prefer, and are you comfortable working from either if needed?
