With its strong customer focus, the Digital Accelerator team is dedicated to elevating the training experience to make pilots the best they can be. **Here are few reasons why folks love working at CAE** - Meaningful work that drives professional development - Ability to enter and grow within the technology industry - Work in a collaborative environment - Be part of a high-performance team **What we have to offer** - _ Benefits:_ fully flexible for you to choose what is important - _ Retirement:_ Defined Benefits Retirement Plan & Group Registered Retirement Savings Plan (RRSP) - _ Financial Perks:_ Employee Stock Purchase Plan & numerous corporate discounts - _ Personal and Family Programs:_ Physical Wellness Plan & Supplementary Maternity Plan - _ Work-Life Balance:_ Flex time & California Fridays all year - _ Fun at work:_ social and community events all-year round **Your mission** **Your main role and responsibilities** - Define, implement and optimize operational processes such as incident management, change management, availability management, etc. - Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans for systems under your responsibility. - Implement and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting systems to proactively detect and resolve issues before they impact customers. - Define and implement best practices and standards for software development, deployment, and operations. - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve complex technical issues that impact system reliability, availability, and performance. - Keep the team engaged through mentoring, job rotation, workload balancing, and shared fun activities. - Develop and execute the staffing strategy to tailor and accelerate hiring to support the growth of the team. - Mentor team members and help them develop professionally and personally. **Your qualifications** - University degree in computer science or equivalent. - At least 5+ years of experience in software engineering or IT operations and at least three years of experience leading teams - Deep understanding of operations and associated processes - Experience with ITIL and other IT operations frameworks an asset. - Strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies. - Experience with container technologies (Kubernetes, OpenShift, etc.) - Experience with cloud infrastructure (Azure, AWS, etc.) - Excellent communicator with the ability to communicate at all levels of the organization. - A unifying leader who knows how to unite their team around a common goal and vision. - Personal motivation, energy, team player, and results-oriented approach. - Ability to work in a collaborative matrix environment. - Motivated by continuous learning and ability to learn quickly about new technologies. - Bilingualism (French and English) required LI-CL1 LI-hybrid **Position Type** Regular CAE thanks all applicants for their interest.
