The **Clinical Applications Specialist** is responsible for in service training on all Topcon diagnostic ophthalmic products for our customers: Ophthalmologists, Optometrists and their staff. Reporting to the Manager Advanced Technology Support, you will:

- Provide clinical and technical training, education and ongoing clinical support to train our customers and Topcon Canada sales team.
- Working in collaboration with the National Sales Director, support sales activities by performing product demos and communicate functionality of Topcon Advanced technology products and software solutions.
- Participate in all product development meetings at and update Topcon Canada Inc. management with business planning for software solutions and advanced technology business.
- Attend and support national and regional trade shows, meetings and conferences. when required.
- Organize and manage regional and national educational symposia.
- Assist the National Sales Director with strategic business planning focusing on the Canadian provincial mass screening programs opportunities.
- Assist with clinical data collection, analysis and presentation as needed.
- Manage the after-sales clinical implementation of Harmony, RDx connectivity solutions in conjunction with the technical service teams and software solutions.

**What we are looking for**:

- Undergraduate degree or College diploma in a clinically related field or equivalent combination of education and training.
- 3-5 years related experience working in an eye-care environment and knowledge of diagnostic tests including visual field testing, OCT, Autorefraction, Ocular Photography.
- Hands-on experience working with medical devices in a clinical setting.
- Bilingual (French and English).
- Ability to travel 50% of the time.
