The Airport Security Professional is responsible for ensuring safety and security of persons both airside and inside the Terminal and compliance with Aviation Security protocols. Due to the training and clearance requirements for this role we will be commencing interviews over the next two months.

Here at our Airport Branch, no day is ever the same, and our collaborative teams work together and support each other to make our airport's global clientele feel safe, each and every day.

**Duties includes**:

- Escorting individuals to the Restricted Area of the airport
- Checking documents of entitlement
- Notify the Airside Safety Officer & Terminal Duty Officer when entering the airfield and when leaving the airfield
- Notify the Airside Safety Officer of any safety and/or security incidents (regardless of severity) that occur on the airfield
- Ensuring that visual contact is maintained while escorting individuals
- Ensuring that each vehicle accessing the Restricted Area has valid Vehicle Permit and/or Temporary Vehicle Permit

**Requirements**:

- Must be comfortable with working outside.
- Available to work days and evenings (graveyards)
- Available to work Weekends and Holidays
- 8-12 Hours per Shift, depending on requirements of client
- Valid Class 5 British Columbia Driver's License
- Clean Drivers Abstract
- Valid Security License within the Province of British Columbia
