Director, Category Management

Endy is seeking a strategic, proactive and collaborative Director of Category Management to become an integral part of its Product team. The Director of Category Management will lead the development of our long-term product roadmap and help commercialize products that will truly delight the Endy customer. This individual will have a deep understanding of the competitive, consumer, and retail landscapes and use that information to inform their recommendations on the go-forward plan. They will leverage existing data and field new research as required to compile a clear and convincing business case for the business to embark on developing new products.
**What You'll Do**:
- Determine the long-term roadmap for all of our products
- Responsible for the delivery of consumer-centric product ideas and solutions that are unique and meaningful and are aligned with the overall growth plan
- Leading the planning and execution of the product design and development process, ensuring that timelines, budgets, and quality standards are met
- Turning viable ideas into tangible concepts, outlining possible product features, design, and overall customer experience
- Collaborating with teams across departments such as marketing, creative, operations, customer experience and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to product development and launch strategies
- Develop and share all necessary new product information and initial vision with the internal team, specifically the reasoning for new products and their features and benefits
**Who You Are**:
- 8+ years of experience in category management or in a similar role in retail or consumer goods industries
- Experience developing a product roadmap or idea generations
- Proven experience in a leadership or managerial role, preferably in a start-up environment
- An eye for aesthetic design and customer apparel with a keen attention to detail
- Ability to inspire and motivate a team, fostering a positive and collaborative work culture
- Experience developing products for e-commerce first
