**PRIMARY FOCUS**:
The Wash Line Lead is responsible for operating the wash line process and carry out quality control checks. Ensure products are produced to the company’s specification, meeting the required Safety and Quality Standards.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Monitor equipment performance dashboard and output Levels to identify issues.
- Complete machine calibration alignments and parameter adjustments.
- Inspect product at each stage to ensure quality standards are met.
- Compare production statistics with targets to identify gaps.
- Document quality checks and performance data.
- Assist with pre-production machine set up, change over and test run.
- Oversee safe systems of work and co-ordinate safety inspections.
- Support new equipment or process implementation as needed.
- Identify area for potential quality, safety, efficiency, and sanitation improvements.
- Communicate issues and bottlenecks to Assistant Plant Manager and Quality Assurance Supervisor.
- Train operators on work instructions and equipment safe use.
- Fill in for Factory Automation Operators during absences as needed.
- Lead production employees and leads to achieve performance standards with regards to Good Manufacturing Practices, safety, line utilization and quality.
- Maintain and improve quality by establishing and enforcing organizational GMP standards, as well as CFIA regulations.
- Orientate and monitor employee performance; providing coaching/training as needed.
- Oversees and assures facility equipment reliability to minimize downtime.
- Maintain general oversight of building conditions with particular attention paid to cleanliness, product storage, safety concerns, product damage prevention and internal security concerns.
- Implement and actively ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and Health & Safety legislative requirements.
- Ensure GMP & HACCP protocols are in place.
- Strive for continuous improvement, thru put, make recommendations, and encourage employee feedback & suggestions.
- Lead by example at all times by adhering and promoting company procedures and policies.
- Other duties/projects as assigned by the Assistant Plant Manger.

**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- High School Diploma or equivalent desired.
- 3+ years of work experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment required, preferably consumer packaged goods.
- Strong interpersonal, decision-making and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong computer and organizational skills.
- Able to work under mínimal supervision.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
