**Role Description** - **Production Associate**

Mon-Fri with occasional weekends possible

Post-Secondary Students welcome

15-40 hours a week, $20

**Qualifications**:

- Excellent time management and organizational skills.
- Comfortable with Microsoft Office software and the ability to learn other similar software packages. Eg. (Shopify, Ship Station, Order Space, Freightcom/Clickship and Google Drive)
- Possess a valid driver's license in good standing.
- Must be able to pass a Criminal Record Check.
- Tow motor certification will be preferred as it is essential in this small business environment.
- (**The SportScreen Ltd will pay for training and certification if required**).
- Clear and articulate English.
- Hands on skills using tools for light assembly & manufacturing.

**Responsibilities including (but not limited to)**:

- Involved in production/assembly/shipping/warehousing
- Assist with inventory processes
- Ability to communicate and follow up with couriers for missing/delayed/damaged packages
- Skill set to use some common tools and complete light manufacturing. Ensure availability of labour, tools and equipment as required to carry out tasks.
- Mitre saw, drill, screw drivers, reciprocating saw.
- Should be able to lift boxes weighing approx. 50-70 lbs on a regular basis.
- Ensure policies and procedures are being followed.
- Work with supervisors/leads/employees to ensure tasks are prioritized and completed in a timely manner.
- Reports to the Operations Manager.
- Strong interpersonal.
- Commitment to learning and self improvement.
- Strong independence and ability to work alone.
- Extremely organized and the ability to multi-task.
- Suggest ways to improve Production/ Assembly.
- High attention to detail and ability to retain information.
- Effective problem-solving skills.
- Comply with policies and procedures regarding loss prevention, breakage of goods and health and safety.
- Communicating with customers on outbound shipments.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.00-$20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 44 per week
