We are seeking a **Kitchen Sales & Design Consultant** who enjoys meeting with clients, understanding how they live, and helping them envision a kitchen that is both functional and beautifully designed.

**About the Role**

As a Kitchen Sales & Design Consultant at OakWood, you will lead **kitchen-focused sales and design consultations**, guiding clients through the design and decision-making stages of their renovation. You will combine relationship-building, sales insight, and design understanding to create a positive and professional client experience.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys client interaction, has a strong grasp of kitchen design principles, and takes pride in helping clients move confidently from initial conversation to project commitment.

**What You’ll Do**
- Conduct kitchen sales and design consultations with prospective clients
- Design and sell cabinetry only contracts
- Listen carefully to client needs, lifestyle requirements, and renovation goals
- Develop kitchen layouts, concepts, and design direction
- Provide informed guidance on cabinetry, finishes, fixtures, and overall kitchen design to achieve client signoff on material selections and final design
- Present OakWood’s design-build process clearly and professionally
- Work with an estimator to prepare and present proposals and pricing for kitchen renovation projects
- Build trust and long-term client relationships through clear communication
- Collaborate closely with estimators, architectural technologists, project managers, and construction teams
- Ensure designs align with project budgets, schedules, and technical requirements
- Maintain accurate and organized client and sales documentation, with the help of an estimator who will create change order reports
- Contribute to design standards, mentorship, and a positive team culture

**What You Bring**
- 5+ years of experience in kitchen sales, kitchen design, or residential renovation consulting
- Strong understanding of kitchen layouts, cabinetry, and renovation processes
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
- Professional, approachable, and client-focused demeanor
- Organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple consultations and projects
- Experience in a design-build environment is an asset
- Proficiency with design software or presentation tools is an asset
