**The Role: Shipping/Receiving and Asset Management Coordinator**

**Who are you?**

As the Shipping/Receiving and Asset Management Coordinator, you will be a key player in Svante’s journey and success.

You will be a service provider to the team at our Burnaby location, providing daily support in regards to facilities maintenance, shipping and receiving, Asset Management and other duties described below.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**
- You will have a minimum five years’ experience in a shipping / receiving and facilities management capacity.
- You are highly organized and make quick decisions.
- You have a proven ability to work well with cross-functional teams and diverse groups of stakeholders.
- You are a strong team-player and collaborator, willing to jump-in where needed.

**Bonus Skills and Qualifications**
- You are Fork-lift certified.

**What Success Looks Like in this Role**
- You effectively manage shipping and receiving of all goods and supplies, as well as assets.
- You manage proper waste disposal/recycling of chemicals, equipment (electronics, mechanical, large), materials (metal, lightbulb, wood), furniture.
- You will participate in a Health & Safety and lean culture.
- You will be a member of the Global Supply Chain and Operations team, having a full-time presence at Svante's headquarters.
- You manage relationships with contractors and service providers to ensure proper functionality of building systems and infrastructure.
