**Job Overview**
We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while providing exceptional service. You will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of beverages, maintaining cleanliness, and ensuring food safety standards are met. This position is perfect for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced environment and enjoy engaging with customers.

**Duties**
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee and tea beverages according to standard recipes.
- Operate coffee machines and equipment efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and taking their orders accurately.
- Handle cash transactions and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
- Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet food safety standards.
- Maintain cleanliness of the work area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations and customer satisfaction.

**Qualifications**
- Minimum one-year Barista experience
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage positively with customers.
- Knowledge of food handling and safety practices is an asset.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team while also being self-motivated.
- A willingness to learn about coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings.

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15 - 30 per week
