**We are looking for someone who believes in the potential of children and the beauty of independence to join our Supply Teacher team for children at our High Park location for children ages 18 months to 12 years of age.**

**The role will require/include**:

- **Supporting the children as needed throughout classroom work periods, outdoor times, transitions, lunch, (diapering/toileting as needed), arrival and dismissal.**:

- **Cleaning/sanitization and maintenance of the classroom and other areas, as needed.**:

- **Redirect, guide and support children towards independence in collaboration with the Lead Teacher.**:

- **Provide safe and nurturing supervision and daily programming of toddler and preschool children.**:

- **Guide, model and support a calm positive environment for the children.**:

- **Engage actively with the children to support enriched learning experiences.**:

- **Being available to be ‘on call’, receiving a request Mon-Fri between 615-715 am, or at times in advance for a planned teacher absence.**:

- **Other duties as assigned.**

- **Valid Standard First Aid and CPR (level C) certificate**:

- **RECE, ECE, OCT or equivalent considered an asset**:

- **Experience with the Montessori method considered an asset**

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Toronto, ON M6P 2X7: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (required)

**Experience**:
