OVERVIEW
The Data Analyst is responsible for analyzing data in a single or multiple systems to ensure it is accurate and consistent and recommending changes to data and or processes when gaps are found. Reporting to the Manager, Business Analysis and working with various departments and systems throughout the organization, this position would be best matched with someone who has a passion for working with data, has exceptional attention to detail, is highly organized, process oriented, and likes to problem solve.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with key business stakeholders and the IT team to audit and validate data
- Analyze and evaluate data across systems and provide recommend improvements to support the accuracy and efficiency of data management
- Support projects and data quality initiatives in relation to data management best practices
- Create and/ or maintain job related standard operating procedures.
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- Ideally you have a bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems or Supply Change Management or equivalent experience
- Experience with NetSuite considered a strong asset
- Excellent excel skills and strong MS Office skills
- Experience working with Master Data an asset
- Strong experience with data analysis and data mining tools
- Your organizational and attention to detail skills are top notch
- Strong problem-solving, mathematical, data literacy skills
- You have superb communication skills, and initiative
- You can work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment
