**Job Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures
- Perform routine laboratory tests, including blood work and urinalysis
- Administer medications, and treatments as directed by veterinarians
- Monitor animal patients during recovery and provide post-operative care
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation for each patient
- Educate pet owners on proper animal care, nutrition, and preventive health measures
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinic, including sterilization of instruments
- Support the team in managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
- Answer phones greet clients and help reception when necessary

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a Veterinary Technician is preferred
- Proficiency in laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing is highly desirable
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pet owners and team members
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- A genuine love for animals and commitment to their care
- Experience with AVI Mark is ideal

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 14 months

Pay: $21.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
