**Part-Time to Full-Time Availability (with 4-day work week option if desired)**

**Clinic Hours**:

- Monday-Thursday: 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM - 12:00 PM (working every other Saturday morning required)

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Assist veterinarians during examinations and surgical procedures.
- Perform laboratory tests, including blood collection, urinalysis, cytology and other diagnostic procedures.
- Administer medications, vaccinations, and treatments as directed by the veterinarian.
- Prepare animals for surgery, including anesthesia induction and recovery monitoring.
- Maintain accurate medical records and ensure proper documentation of treatments.
- Educate pet owners on proper care, nutrition, and preventative health measures.
- Provide compassionate care and support to both animals and their owners.

**Qualifications**:

- A degree in Veterinary Technology or equivalent experience preferred.
- Previous experience in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital setting is required.
- Knowledge of Avimark and Idexx software is an asset.
- Strong knowledge of laboratory procedures and diagnostic testing.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both pet owners and team members.
- Ability to handle animals safely and with compassion in various situations.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in record-keeping.
