**Responsibilities**
- Greet guests with a friendly, energetic demeanor as they arrive, making them feel valued and appreciated
- Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently using POS system
- Maintain an organized waitlist and communicate wait times clearly to guests
- Assist with guest inquiries over the phone, demonstrating professional phone etiquette and excellent communication skills
- Coordinate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure timely seating and smooth flow of service
- Uphold cleanliness and organization of the host stand area, ensuring a welcoming environment at all times
- Handle guest concerns promptly and courteously, striving to resolve issues and enhance overall guest relations

**Skills**
- Previous experience as a host/host or in food service is highly preferred
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with guests and team members
- Familiarity with restaurant POS system is advantageous
- Experience in hotel or hospitality environments is a plus, demonstrating adaptability across guest services settings
- Knowledge of serving standards, guest relations, and hospitality best practices
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining a friendly, approachable presence
