Job description

**POSITION TITLE**: SHOTCRETE CREW LABOURER

**REPORTS TO**:Shotcrete Crew Foreman

**ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Setting up the job site and helping set up material lines
- Shoveling
- Using hand tools and power tools (vibrators, chippers)
- Setting up A-frame and crew scaffolding
- Scraping the overspray and cleaning the block forms
- Cleaning up the site throughout the day
- Maintaining a safe work environment by adhering to health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Providing support to the Shotcrete Crew as required
- Other duties as assigned

**JOB REQUIREMENTS**
- Must be punctual, reliable, hardworking, and eager to learn
- Must have strong communication skills, be an active listener and have a respectful attitude
- Experience in concrete and /or construction an asset
- Training will be provided if required (Working at heights, WHMIS GHS, Worker Awareness)
- Must be willing to work overtime
- Able to lift, carry, or shovel objects weighing up to 50 pounds
- Must be able to work long hours outside in all weather conditions, including seasonally hot or cold temperatures and inclement weather
- Able to follow instructions
- Able to work individually as well as part of a team
- Able to perform physical labour requiring continual and repetitive use of large motor skills to stand, walk, sit, bend, crouch, shovel, push, pull, twist, turn, stretch, and reach
- License and own transportation is preferred
