Dispatcher (Intermodal/drayage)

Jasliner Freights is looking for a dynamic team member to join our Operations Division as a Dispatch Operative located in Montreal, Quebec. The shift schedule will be during the day, (times may vary) from Monday to Friday at our office location.
Responsibilities may include:
- Working directly with our Operations team, fellow Dispatch Operatives and Road team to ensure deliveries are accommodated as planned.
- Dispatching drivers through a dedicated software.
- Maintain contact with drivers regarding any shipment updates and/or issues.
- Prepare and organize any documentation related to deliveries.
- Coordinating deliveries in advance.
- Any other duties assigned by the Operations manager that may be required.
**Requirements**:
- Diploma or any certification related to supply chain is considered an asset.
- 1 year of work experience in the Logistics and/or supply chain.
- Full proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and Outlook) and Microsoft One Drive.
- Capable of working in team-oriented environment.
- Reliable and professional attitude.
- Fully fluent in English (Written and Spoken).
- French considered an asset although not required.

Schedule: 8 Hour Shift, Monday to Friday
Experience: 1 year of work experience in the Logistics and/or supply chain in a similar role.
Pay: From $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: No more than 60 per week
