WSP is currently hiring an Air Quality coop student to join our **Air, Noise, Vibration and Climate team in Earth & Environment**. You will be responsible for evaluating air quality impacts from projects and developing air quality emissions inventory.

**A day in the life**:

- Prepare air emissions inventory to support annual reporting
- Analyze air quality using EPA MOVES, CAL3QHC/R, AERSCREEN, and AERMOD models;
- Quantitatively determine local/regional contaminant and greenhouse gas emissions and predicting future emissions and their impact;
- Manage and utilize a wide range of technical tools such as spreadsheets;
- Supporting the preparation of air quality assessments in support of a wide range of clients including provincial transportation agencies, rail transit agencies, airports, provincial environment agencies, and private development companies; and
- Prepare technical reports on study findings

**What you'll bring to WSP...**:

- Studying in environmental engineering, chemical engineering, chemistry, meteorology, or related field;
- Interested in the field of air quality;
- Technical skills in with spreadsheet and computer modelling;
- Excellent verbal, written, and communication skills;
- Proven ability to use effective time management skills, handle multiple assignments, and to work both independently and with a team; and,
- Experience with technical report writing would be an asset.
