Service Desk Analyst

Our vibrant Winnipeg team is seeking an experienced Service Desk Analyst to assist in the support and maintenance of the growing network and system infrastructure for Online Business Systems and customers under contract for Managed Services. This role will be part of a team that is responsible for designing, delivering, and supporting scalable, maintainable, and highly available network architectures that meet business objectives and SLAs. You may be called upon to consult with internal stakeholders and our clients to determine technology requirements that will support their organizational business goals and fill an important role in DevOps process acting on behalf of the IT operations team.
**Critical Competencies for Success**: Service-oriented, organized, analytical, technical acumen and experience using a variety of technologies related to public and private cloud infrastructure, experience supporting network topologies for SMB and enterprise, strong work ethic, detail oriented, excellent customer service skills, enjoy working with people, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills in the English language.
**What you'll do**:
- Monitor and resolve service desk tickets.
- Monitor active network and server infrastructure.
- Respond to customer requests based on established SLAs.
- Troubleshoot and resolve Infrastructure anomalies.
- Perform routine preventative maintenance on equipment.
- Support and maintain back-office servers in specified datacenters.
- Provision and support the deskside hardware and software stack.
- Assist in the delivery IT solutions for a variety of technologies as need arises by using standard SDLC methods.
- Occasionally travel for consultation and Infrastructure upgrades and maintenance. Document technical procedures, process, and user guides.
- Accept and engage in other IT and IT business responsibilities as assigned by the Director of Infrastructure to support our dynamically changing business.
**What we'd like**:
- Working knowledge supporting and maintaining Microsoft cloud software and services in both Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Broad knowledge of IT business issues and processes related to incident management, as well as enabling technologies to support the core business.
- 2-4 years’ experience working as an IT support analyst, help desk analyst, or equivalent role in the industry. Experience supporting and maintaining back-office, desktop, and network Infrastructure components on private and cloud topologies.
- A service-oriented approach to IT support. Experience with Microsoft Azure and O365 support.
- Knowledge of and experience with server and desktop operating systems on the Windows, Apple, and Linux platforms for support and maintenance purposes.
- Experience with networking concepts.
