Infinity currently develops, builds and sells approximately 100 residential units and between 70 and 100 single family lots each year with the goal of increasing this production year over year.

**About Your Role**

As a LANDSCAPE FOREMAN, you have the proficiency to manage the Infinity on-site landscape labour crew and coordinate landscape materials and equipment, contributing to the completion of the project in a way that meets or exceeds the expectations of the Key Stakeholders.

**General Work to include but not be limited to the following**:
Site Work:

- Prepare work area, to be free of obstructions and debris
- Prepare and verify grades for required installations
- Coordinate materials and equipment for work to be installed
- Work alongside crew to complete installation of hardscapes and softscapes
- Utilize equipment such as skid steer, compactor, excavator, cut-off saw

Staff Management:

- Provide coordination and supervision of daily activities for a team of 3 to 10 people
- Ensure tools and materials are prepared in advance to enable assignments to be produced in the most efficient manner possible
- Work in a pre-planned and efficient manner to ensure all landscaping tasks are being complete within the allotted time frame
- In cooperation with the Landscaping Manager, facilitate daily crew meetings to set and discuss daily and weekly goals
- Accurately complete daily paperwork, time sheets and other applicable paperwork with an attention to detail
- In cooperation with the Landscaping Manager, coordinate the training of crew personnel in proper operational, safety, technical methods and equipment use
- Assist in the inventory tracking of materials or equipment
- Lead by example through working alongside your team

QA / QC:

- Under the direction of the Landscape Manager, read and interpret drawings, sketches, and specifications to provide clear instructions to the crew and calculate materials and equipment required to complete assignments
- Double check all work being produced by yourself and the crew members to proactively prevent deficiencies, ensuring adherence to drawing specifications and quality standards
- Where deficiencies are found, implement corrective measures immediately
- When necessary, coordinate assigned work with other trade foremen to ensure the successful installation of required work

Safety:

- Carry out your work in accordance with WCB regulations and Infinity Properties safety program
- Conduct daily tail-gate meetings and monitor crew to ensure safety standards are upheld
- Report any observed hazards to your direct supervisor, the project CSO and or to the Site Superintendent
- Help to ensure all crew members have a clear understanding of tools; their use, how to operate them safely, cleaning procedures as well as how to organize then in an orderly manner

**What You Bring**

You will ideally bring the following qualifications:

- Personable with good leadership and coordination ability
- Organized and detailed
- Experience in landscape construction or the construction industry as asset (min. of 5 years in progressive roles)
- Experience in a Leadership / Supervisory role (min. 2 years)
- Post secondary trades education / Red Seal (completion or working towards) an asset
- Experience with Hard Scape and Soft Scape landscaping required
- Experience in reading technical reports, blueprints and other construction documents is required
- Experience in Heavy Machinery Operation (1000+ hours) an asset
- i. Skid Steer - 1 year (preferred)
- ii. Excavator - 1 year (preferred)
- iii. Landscape Foreman - 1 year (preferred)
- iv. Landscaping - 1 year (preferred)
- Class 5 drivers license
- Heavy Trailer Endorsement (preferred)
- Ability to perform physical work
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work in all weather conditions
- Must be punctual and reliable
- Hard working with a great attitude
- **English language proficiency is required**
