Saanich, Canada South Island Sheet Metal Full time

South Island Sheet Metal is looking for either an experienced or unexperienced sheet metal worker for residential and commercial job sites alongside supervisor.

Pay will be in relation to experience/apprenticeship level.

Prior experience is an asset, but all skills can be taught on-site. We are able to sponsor a serious individual through there red seal.

Valid BC drivers license, and ability to travel to workshop or jobsite, is a must.

Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

- Retrieving tools and materials as needed.
- Basic sheet metal work, including running duct work, piping, taping, and sealing.
- Driving work vehicles to suppliers and picking up materials as needed.
- Workshop and job site clean-up.

If more experienced in the trade responsibilities will also include more advanced tasks:

- Fabricating fittings in shop
- Help design system layouts

We are a small family run company looking for someone agreeable, easy to work with and responsible. Happy to hear from Journeymen/Women as well and could discuss a higher paid position if we are a good match.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Casual

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Saanich, BC V8Y 1S8: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

Licence/Certification:
