**A Day in the Life** **All About You** **What You’ll Bring to the Role**: - Ensures consistent implementation and adherence to the high standard of culture and ethical values of the company. - Experience in a role where strong attention to detail, being resourceful, working multiple projects and competing demands are the norm. - Excellent consultative, presentation skills and proven success developing strong, collaborative relationships across multiple departments and levels. - Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint and SharePoint) - Professionalism, with ability to maintain confidential information and a positive "can-do" attitude. - Works independently as well as with a team. - Use judgment to identify the most appropriate solution from several options using prior knowledge and experience since problems or situations are different and require interpretation. - Responsibilities and objectives are assigned with considerable freedom for decision making using technical or experiential knowledge and company standards. Work may be periodically reviewed according to achievement of predefined goals. - Has the ability to be flexible and adapt to changing priorities. **The Must Haves** - A diploma in Human Resources, Business or a related field preferred - Must have 1 - 3 years experience as a HR Generalist supporting a high volume of employees - The ability to travel within Canada - Understanding of BC legislation **Things You Will be Doing** - Works in partnership with management on various employment matters including performance management issues, employee inquiries or complaints, conduct investigations and processes terminations. - Maintains and coordinates NRI’s safety program as needed.
