**Position Summary**:
We are looking for a **Business Analyst **for Nespresso based at our Montreal location. The Sales Analyst will be a highly analytical position working with key data from our Nespresso Boutiques. The incumbent will support the In-Home B2C team by collecting sales data as well as other Key performance Indicators, generating reports and making strategic decisions and recommendations based on that data to the Sales Organization. In addition, the Sales Analyst will work in close collaboration with the Business Managers in market to better understand the competitive marketplace and its environment forecast management with regards to sales.

**A day in the life of...**:
As a Business Analyst, you will:
**Develop short and long term strategy**:

- Work in conjunction with Headquarters International Analyst in developing performance tracking tools.
- Determine opportunities and gaps between markets.
- Present and “sell” strategic ideas to upper management based on those findings.

**Collaborate in the planning process**:

- Support the Boutique organization in monthly Consensus Forecast Planning Meetings.
- Advocate for the needs of Boutique to support Initiatives, innovation launches and securing of inventory on top performing skus (stock-keeping unit).
- Develop and recommend Assortment plans to management for each machine range based on turnover, on-hand ownership and new innovation launch plans.

**Collection, Coordination, Compilation and Analysis of sales data**:

- Presentation of Sales and Market analysis to internal departments (management, commercial, marketing, e-com, finance...).
- Analyze and interpret Boutiques sales data for better performance understanding.
- Work with boutique Managers and Business Managers on innovation launch forecasts to Headquarters.
- Support the regional Business Managers by providing easy-to-interpret reports with the analysis completed that allow strategic decision making.

**Guide Upper Management in important sales decisions**:

- Excellent understanding of the business.
- Analyze results and set up reports containing relevant conclusions, ideas and general recommendations.
- Prepare in depth proposals that meet requirements and standards.
- Be on the lookout for opportunity, competitive risks, profitability, and economic conditions affecting the business.
- Provide necessary information for short
- and long-term forecast.

**Develop methodologies and processes**:

- Develop and track Key performance indicators.
- Ensure current and future data and software requirements are met to provide accurate decision support to the business.

**Build and manage Access and Excel databases**:

- Improve current reporting system
- Develop and track key performance indicators and market data under Power BI, SQL and Excel reporting tools

**What will make you successful**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in business related fields: Finance, Economics, Marketing, Retail Management preferred;
- At least 3-5 years of Retail and/or Sales experience and 2-3 years of Sales Analyst in a Retail environment experience is required;
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft suite and Access is a must; (Advanced Level/ Expert on Excel and Access, Power BI, SQL)
- Detail oriented;
- Autonomous;
- Strong analytical competencies
- Excellent presentation and communication skills (clear, precise verbal and written skills);
- Ability to define and clearly explain conceptual solutions;
- Strong aptitude to recognize opportunities for improvement and take appropriate action;
- Proven business analysis
- Solid problem-solving skills;
- Ability to influence management of strategic decisions based on analysis and Logic;
- Innovation minded, thinks outside of the box;
- Bilingual in English and French verbal and written.
