_Crania Schools is known for its high-quality educational programs in math, coding, robotics, reading, and piano, and its customer-focused service model. With two locations conveniently situated in Kitchener-Waterloo near public transit, we are looking for instructors to assist with delivery of programs and curriculum development._

- _Teaching Math, English, Coding and/or Robotics both in-person and/or virtually as required._
- _Reviewing background material in advance of each class._
- _Maintaining student records including student performance and attendance._
- _Developing curricula and creating educational materials._
- _Communicating with customers as necessary._
- _Developing and maintaining IT and enterprise software._
- _Maintaining cleanliness and order in the center._
- _Ensuring classroom supplies are stocked and technical equipment is functioning and charged at the end of each class._
- _Opening and closing center as needed._
- _Other duties as requested by the Director and his/her delegate_

**Required**:

- _Strong background in mathematics, coding and/or robotics._
- _STEM skills and knowledge_
- _Strong computer skills_
- _Demonstrated teaching ability and passion, or alternatively, a willingness to learn._
- _Punctuality, reliability and dependability._
- _Ability to work co-operatively and respectfully with the Director, parents, students and other employees of Crania Schools._
- _Good communication skills, both oral and written, and ability to accurately follow directions from the Director and his/her delegate._
- _Ability to maintain confidentiality and to be worthy of the trust required to teach students under the age of 18 at Crania Schools._
- _Quick learner with the ability to work both independently and collaboratively_
- _Creative, innovative and willing to contribute ideas_

**Nice-to-have**:

- _Coding experience, e.g. HTML/CSS, JavaScript and/or Python_
- _Piano experience_

**Education**:

- Current Vulnerable Sector Check and First Aid required prior to commencing position_

**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract, Casual
Contract length: 4-12 months
Part-time hours: 4 - 10 per week

**Salary**: $16.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Weekend availability
