**Responsibilities**:
- Supervise, coordinate and schedule the activities of workers who install, repair and maintain civil infrastructure, telecommunication systems and power systems.
- Establish methods to meet work schedules and coordinate work activities with other departments or subcontractors
- Requisition materials and supplies
- Resolve work problems and recommend work measures to improve productivity
- Train or arrange training of workers
- Ensure our health & safety rules and policies are being followed
- Prepare work reports such as daily site safety reports, trouble ticket reports, closeouts and daily site progress reports.
- Perform site maintenance activities and troubleshoot configuration problems.
- Work with NOC at implementing Fault management, Configuration Management and Performance Management tools.
**Qualifications**:
- Minimum 1 year rigging experience in the telecommunication industry; climbing at heights of 100 meters (330 feet)
Proven understanding of and experience with telecommunications equipment, cables and hardware.
- Coax and Fiber testing, installation of RRUs and Antennas, Coax termination, DC powerlines, troubleshooting experience - Asset.
- Working knowledge in fall protection practice and procedures and tower rescue techniques.
- General construction experience - Asset
- Experience in rope access work, climbing tickets - Asset
- Willingness/availability to work overtime and/or weekends and travel out of town
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
