**Overview**
**Duties**
- Analyze mechanical plans, specifications, and other documentation to prepare detailed cost estimates.
- Utilize take off software to create accurate pricing.
- Collaborate with project managers to understand project requirements and timelines.
- Conduct site visits to gather necessary information for accurate estimating.
- Price materials, labor, and equipment needed for projects while ensuring competitive bids.
- Negotiate contracts with suppliers to secure the best pricing options.
- Maintain organized records of estimates, proposals, and contracts for future reference.
- Review and update estimates based on project changes or client requests.
- Additional duties as required.
**Skills**
- Proficiency in estimating techniques and methodologies.
- Familiarity with mechanical takeoff software for cost estimation processes.
- Strong knowledge of project management principles related to construction projects.
- Excellent negotiation skills to secure favorable terms with vendors and subcontractors.
- Ability to build effective relationships with clients, contractors, and team members.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail for accurate pricing assessments.
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $85,000.00-$110,000.00 per year
