We’re looking for dynamic individuals to join our team. We are currently seeking OSP (Outside Plant) technicians and ISP/ISW (Inside Plant/Inside Wire) technicians. _**This position will require company paid travel and over night stays in Alberta & British Columbia.**_
- Installation of fiber optic cabling in indoor and outdoor settings, underground & aerial
- Test & troubleshoot fibre optic lines.
- Read and interpret fiber optic network design plans.
- Terminate and test newly installed fiber optic cabling.
- General labour
- Install EMT conduit

**Responsibilities**:

- Promote and actively participate in company safe work practices.
- Maintain company equipment and the vehicle in compliance with company policies.
- Maintain personal tool list.
- Participation in different positions within the organization

**Qualifications & abilities**:

- Honest
- Punctual
- Self starter with the ability to take direction and learn new skills
- Physically fit with the ability to lift at least 50 lbs.
- Physically able to perform job duties in all weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail
- Maintain a safe and harassment free work environment
- Maintain detailed site records
- Ability to comply with specified policies and procedures for both company and customer
- Ability to work at heights
- Microsoft Office knowledge
- Must have valid drivers license and clean security check
- Positive attitude, ability to work with others, and willingness to learn
- Mobile phone with access to mobile data

Pay: $21.00-$25.00 per hour

Additional pay:

- Overtime pay

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday

Licence/Certification:

- Alberta Class 5 Licence or Equivalent (required)

**Location**:

- Edmonton, AB (required)

Willingness to travel:

- 50% (required)

Work Location: On the road
