**Job Title**:System Testing Technician (1 vacant)

**Job Type**:Permanent, full-time (40 hours per week)

**Wage**:$38.00/hour

**Work Location**:#210, 8944 182 Street NW, Edmonton, AB

**Job duties include**:
Develop software testing plans and procedures for communication and network systems.

Facilitate and conduct risk review with clients before execution of testing plans.

Prepare and install necessary software and hardware for the testing.

Perform information system tests based on engineering deliverables such as: fibre optic network block diagram, schematic diagram, connectivity diagram, patch cord detail, cable section index, cable routing, power supply wiring, copper cable wring, network cabinet layouts, enclosure/junction box layouts, PLD/DCS fibre optic connection diagram.

Generate testing reports and analyze system acceptance in accordance with design criteria.

Provide feedback and recommendation to design engineers for design improvement.

Assist in follow-up system commissioning and start-up.

**Job requirements**:
Completion of a university degree or a college diploma in computer science, computer programming or network administration is required.

3+ years of experience in computer science, computer programming or network administration is required.
