We are currently hiring a **Food and Beverage Manager** to join our Chances Salmon Arm Team**.**

In this position you will plan, organize, direct, and coordinate the workers and resources of the Food and Beverage department for efficient, well-prepared, and profitable service.

**What you will be doing**
- Work alongside with the management team to ensure standards of both food and service and production are consistently high within B’s Public House.
- Assist with supervising the operations to minimize legal liability and conform to alcoholic beverage regulations.
- Coordinate new staff training needs.
- Train and develop team for outstanding customer service.
- Work with management to increase sales and minimize costs including food, beverage, supplies and labour costs.
- Respond to guest complaints taking all appropriate actions to turn dissatisfied guests into returning guests.
- Evaluate guest feedback and take relevant actions on feedback received.
- Assist clients with all details of event planning for catering events.
- Liaison between the clients and operations staff to ensure all arrangements are executed properly for catering events.
- Plan, organize, and market special events with assistance of the management team.

- Excellent customer service abilities
- Excellent problem-solving and conflict management abilities
- Strong organizational and time management skills
- Good knowledge of regulatory issues such as Food Safe & OH&S
- Ability to successfully obtain a Serving It Right certificate and a criminal record check through the Gaming Policy and Enforcement Branch.
