**Overview**:
Mancor Industries is a world class precision manufacturer of metal components and sub-assemblies that uses state of the art machining and fabrication techniques to produce high value add, cost effective products for our strategic partners in the North American Truck and Heavy Duty equipment industries.

The Assistant Controller reports to the Plant controller with responsibilities that include reconciling account balances and bank statements٫ maintaining the general ledger٫ preparing month-end, quarter end and year end close procedures and ensuring accuracy and effectiveness in all Company accounting tasks.

The position will also have a dotted-line reporting relationship to the company CFO who provides corporate support services to Finance.

**Tasks**:

- Responsible for Accounts Receivable and keeping the outstanding balance at a minimum, resolving invoice disputes and ensuring customer accounts are paid in a timely fashion.
- Responsible for Accounts Payable and keeping the outstanding balance at the maximum manageable level to conserve cash while ensuring good supplier relationships and no interruptions in production.
- Responsible for cash management, bank reconciliations and cash flow planning and reporting
- Responsible for the accuracy of the general ledger to ensure timely and complete financial reporting is delivered. This includes ensuring all accounts are reconciled on a timely basis, inventory is counted and valued properly, and all reserves and accruals are accurate and timely.
- Responsibility for the cost accounting system including accurate development of work center costs, accurate and timely standard costs.
- Support payroll activities including integration of payroll with ERP system and filing of payroll taxes
- Coordinate budget preparation and monitor budget variances
- Preparation of weekly, monthly, and quarterly plant financial reports
- Liaise with auditors for the annual audit
- Liaise with Corporate Controller & Plant Managers
- Assist Plant management in the preparation of quotes and ensure they have accurate cost data to quote with
- Provide consolidation and analytical support for weekly, monthly and quarterly reporting
- Provide financial analysis and support in the evaluation of capital purchases.

**Education/Skills & Experience Required**:

- University degree, coupled with a recognized professional accounting designation (C.A., CMA, CGA)
- 3-5 years’ experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Advanced IT Competency with emphasis on Excel and ERP systems
- Dynamic thinker with advanced financial skills to develop and maintain best of class financial system and processes
- Familiarity with payroll systems such as Payworks or Ceridian

**Salary**: $70,000.00-$80,000.00 per year
