Overview:
To assist driller with various loading, driving & drilling activities as per scope of work indicated on job sheets while promoting a safe work environment. This position is ideal for anyone looking to train and develop skills in environmental/geotechnical drilling activities. Opportunity for advancement once competency has been established.

**Responsibilities**:

- Follow all training and direction given by the driller.
- Complete pre and post trip light vehicle inspections, driving company vehicles in a manner that is safe and courteous, following all applicable speed limits and laws, completing drivers logs as per federal DOT regulations and hours of service.
- Promote a safe work environment by attending the daily Job hazard assessments/tailgate meetings and abiding by the controls.
- Follow company policies and safe operating procedures and government legislation pertaining to their intended work activity.
- Assist driller in various drilling activities including attaching/detaching auger, hoses and pipe, preparing sampling equipment for clients, performing good housekeeping and other related duties including maintaining shop and shed organization and vehicle cleanliness.

Employee is responsible to perform all tasks and duties according to the company Health, Safety and Environment operating policies & procedures provided to you during your orientation and on the job training.

Job Requirements:

- Typically requires a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Sufficient language, literacy and numeracy skills to perform all job related tasks.
- Class 1, 3 or 5 drivers’ license & Drivers Abstract required
- Excellent communication skills - verbal and written.
- Clear understanding and compliance with ALL company health and safety policies and procedures.
- Physically fit and able to lift 50lbs comfortably (job performance physical required).
- Mandatory oilfield tickets - H2S Alive, Standard First Aid, Ground Disturbance - level 2, TDG

CSO (Common Safety Orientation). Must be completed before employment commences.
- Mandatory drug and alcohol testing.

**Job Type**: Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$25.00 per hour
