**JOB OVERVIEW**:

- Portering Services provide transportation for within site movement of:

- Patients
- Specimens and Samples
- Medical Records
- Portable equipment and furniture
- Clean and Soiled Linen
- General Waste and Bio-hazardous waste
- Must be available to work weekends as well as provide coverage during the week if necessary
- Must be available for day and evening shifts
- Must be available to work holidays

- **GENERAL QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Maintains high standards for work areas and appearance
- Attends work and shows up for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity in light of Sodexo time and attendance policy and/or client operating hours
- Ability to work a flexible schedule
- Able to work weekends and some holidays
- Adheres to job acceptance and completion protocols
- Focuses attention and actions on what is best for the patient or customer at all times
- **PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS**:

- Close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus, with or without corrective lenses
- Significant walking or other means of mobility
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods of time (up to 8 hours)
- Ability to reach, bend, stoop, push and/or pull, and frequently lift up to 35 pounds and occasionally lift/move 40 pounds

**Job Types**: Permanent, Part-time

**Salary**: $25.27 per hour

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Monday to Friday
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
