**Job Summary**:
To Ensure Patient Porter standards are being maintained.

Now, if you were to come on board as our Patient Transport Supervisor, we would ask you to do the following for us:

- Run the daily operations of patient transport and oversee unionized staff
- Work collaboratively with other department supervisors and staff
- Assist with the development & implementation of area improvement plans
- Liaise with end users regularly to ascertain & accommodate procedural and urgent needs and patient flow
- Utilize specific software effectively for the production & utilization of all relevant reports
- Encourage & inspire patient transport staff to reach benchmarks through innovative methods that center around neutral communication & positive reinforcement
- Advocate strict adherence to the infection control process and instruct/advise accordingly
- Creation of all necessary shift reports, including maintenance deficiency requests for immediate or scheduled consideration
- Available to work flexible hours to meet hospital’s needs
- Assisting with the development of best practices for PIDAC cleaning & disinfection process
- Other duties as assigned
