**Forklift Operator (Shipping and Receiving) for Day Shift (7:00am - 3:30pm)**

We have an immediate need for a Forklift Operator in our Shipping and Receiving department. The successful applicant will have at least 2 years experience operating **sit-down counterbalance forklifts** and working in a warehouse setting. The position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Operate forklift driver to lift 40 x 48 pallets and handleCounter Balance
- Load, unload and stage products and materials
- Organize paperwork for loading and off-loading trucks
- Submit trucking information daily
- Print warehouse label when needed for production
- Other duties and responsibilities as required

**Skills and Behaviour**:

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written) - Fluent in English; ability to receive and follow instructions; communicate with coworkers and supervisors to identify any issues or opportunities for improvement
- Ability to read, interpret and understand labels, safety warnings and guidelines
- Attention to detail; high level of accuracy; manage priorities and meet deadlines
- Ability to work both individually and in a team environment; fast paced
- Positive attitude; strong work ethic; desire to achieve goals; self-motivated

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Manufacturing and/or warehouse experience
- Minimum 2 years operating **sit-down counterbalance forklift**

**Must have**:

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid and up-to-date Forklift Drivers license

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
