**INTRODUCTION**
River City Events seeks a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Associate to join our team.
In this role, you will identify new business opportunities, foster relationships with potential clients, and play a pivotal role in driving our company’s growth.
**POSITION OVERVIEW**
As a Business Development Associate, you will be fully dedicated to delivering professional sales expertise and exceptional customer service. You’ll use your organizational, managerial, and product knowledge to build relationships and drive revenue for River City Events.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- **Sales Leadership**: Set a strong example in client service and product sales, achieve opportunity-based sales quotas, and establish valuable connections for long-term growth.
- **Customer Service Excellence**: Provide high-level customer service to clients and prospects, achieving business targets through direct, telephone, and electronic sales and communication.
- **Revenue Generation**: Create sales leads, expand market presence, acquire new clients, and build lasting relationships with new and existing clients.
- **Client Engagement**: Handle sales activities from lead generation through assigned client bases and market segments.
- **Marketing & Planning**: Develop and implement marketing plans to expand the customer base in target areas. Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to inform business strategies.
- **Administrative**: Support the Client Care department and company administration, handling various administrative and office duties to ensure smooth operations. Prepare regular reports on business development activities and outcomes for management review.

**EXPERIENCE**
- Proven experience in business development, sales, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of market dynamics and client needs within the event industry.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to quickly build rapport.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is beneficial.
- A motivated, proactive problem-solver with strong analytical skills.

Pay: $24.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 - 40 per week
