Order Picker/packer

**Order Picker - Edmonton (Monday to Friday Day Shift)**

**Reports to: Warehouse Team Lead**

JLM Supply Ltd. was founded in 1981 with primary offerings of Valves & Strainers for the Oil & Gas Industry in Western Canada. Over the years we evolved into a stocking distributor of one of the most comprehensive Valve and Strainer product lines for this industry as well as the power industry. Today, JLM Supply represents not only one of the most comprehensive Valve and Strainer product lines in the industry, but also the conventional Oil & Gas product lines such as Insulation Kits, Bolting, Gaskets and Pipe Supports.

**General Responsibilities**:
Responsible to work within a team environment to accomplish the Customer Requirements for manufactured quality products and assembling complete orders, in an accurate, timely and safe manner.

**Specific Accountabilities**
- Pick/Pack all customer orders promptly, ensuring accuracy and all orders are being shipped on time. Understand and react to emergency/rush situations as they arise, as requested by customers (both external and internal)
- Interact with customers, co-workers, and management persons in a professional and helpful manner.
- Perform stock inventory counts or periodic cycle counts as requested.
- Obtain and maintain forklift and first aid certifications (note, mínimal forklift use is required for this position)
- Ensure to follow and enforce all company policies/procedures and safety regulations
- Maintain good housekeeping practices in warehouse; sweep & empty garbage daily, dispose of non-required packing materials (skids & boxes) weekly and ensure product on shelves is kept neat, faced and accurate. Floors and work areas to be keep clean at all times.
- All product to maintain proper labeling when opened and ensure product is protected while in storage.

**Qualifications**
- Ability to follow instructions and work in a fast-paced environment

- High School Diploma / GED

- Customer Focused (both Internal & External)
- Must be able to lift/carry 15-50Lbs
- Must be able to be on your feet for minimum of 8hrs/day
- Must be able to perform frequent twisting, kneeling, squatting
- Must be able to pass random drug testing

**Requirements**:
Minimum 3-5 years prior experience in fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Although experience in Fabrication/Manufacturing of Gaskets and working in high-speed Manufacturing operation is not a requirement, it would be considered an asset.
- Ability to operate various Manufacturing equipment, Water-Jet, Saw, Chamfer
