Seamless Care Pharmacy is growing again and we are looking for new team members We are a specialty pharmacy providing unique services to the senior care, group home and mental health markets in Ontario. The Pharmacy Assistant position is responsible for filling medications, accurately identifying and labeling medications, completing changes to clients existing medications and compliance packaging, calling doctors, caregivers and other pharmacies as needed and any other tasks required by management staff.
This position is full time (37.5-40 hours per week) and may rotate 8 hour schedules within the following hours; Monday to Friday 8am-7pm, Saturday 9am-5pm or Sunday 9am-5pm.
Additionally, you will need to work very closely with team members to ensure we deliver world class service to complement our best in class pharmacy service operations.
This position starts at $17/hour with a probationary period of 90 days after which time a performance evaluation will occur. Training would be expected to last 4-6 weeks and the schedule for this time would be 8am-4pm or 9am-5pm Monday-Friday after which time you would be placed on the rotating schedule as mentioned above.
**Responsibilities**:
- Work with a team of Pharmacy Assistants, Pharmacists and Pharmacy Technicians in collaboration with other teams to ensure clients receive a safe and effective medication management system.
- Data Entry
- Exceptional Customer Service in person, electronically and via telephone
- Proficiency with computer software (Microsoft Office, Kroll etc)
- Inventory Control
- Billing third party plans
- Modifying compliance packaging
- Leading by example by demonstrating on a daily basis the core values of Seamless Care
- Promoting a positive company image
- General Office duties as required
**Qualifications**:
- Kroll experience is an asset (1+ year)
- 1+ year in-pharmacy experience a must
- Ability to multi-task
- Ability to stay focused and keep busy with mínimal supervision
- Ability to forge partnerships with other team members
- Problem-solving skills, flexible attitude, resourceful and effective in making decisions
