The Operations Support Specialist (hereinafter referred to as “OSS”) will work to assist with administrative support, planning and implementation of large-scale projects including Time and Attendance Tracking, Quality Assurance Tracking and other projects as needed.

The OSS will also be the primary individual responsible for the management of all incoming requests. This person will also oversee the optimization, maintenance, implementation and change management of the various projects simultaneously.

The OSS will also utilize our Remote Training tools to provide training as needed to various branch offices within North America. Full training will be provided. This position will be based out of our branch office located in Mississauga with a combination of remote and onsite tasks (some travel may be required). Company hardware will be provided (Cellphone, Laptop, etc).

GDI's commercial facility services capabilities include commercial janitorial, installation, maintenance and repair of HVAC-R, mechanical and electrical systems, as well as other complementary services such as damage restoration and janitorial products manufacturing and distribution

**Duties**
- Assist with planning and organization Software upgrades and automation procedures
- Escalation of issues affecting service
- Assist with drafting and implementing policies & procedures
- Communicate with various suppliers and/or clients in a professional manner
- Managing all incoming requests in a timely manner
- Update and configure software as needed
- Identifying and investigating all communications technical and billing anomalies
- Reviewing new potential communications solutions
- Identifying areas where GDI can minimize risk and streamline operations
- Managing all requests for additions and changes
- Inventory management and procurement
- Overseeing projects relating to Time and Attendance & Quality Insurance
- Auditing and Reporting
- Other duties and projects as required

**Requirements**:

- Proficient with Microsoft Windows & Office, especially Excel
- Excellent organizational skills
- Detail oriented
- Organized
- Ability to learn multiple software programs and databases
- Great communication skills & able to work well independently or with others
- Motivated and self-disciplined
- Valid Driver’s license
- Must have access to a dependable vehicle
- Able to legally work in Canada
- Criminal background check will be required
