Victoria, Canada Garden City Tree and Landscape Full time

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Independently lead and execute landscape projects from inception to completion.
- Operate and manage a variety of construction equipment with skill and precision.
- Lead and execute activities such as grading, hardscaping, planting, and irrigation.
- Translate blueprints and project specifications for projects completion.
- Mentor and lead a crew, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
- Ensure safety in every aspect of the job.
- Work in conjunction with Project Manager and other division manager to ensure quality work.
- Ensure daily tracking of job progress using company software.
- Perform seasonal winter work on anti ice and snow removal as required.

**Qualifications**:

- At least 10 years of experience in Landscape Construction or similar industry.
- Exposure leading teams effectively.
- Mastery of landscape construction techniques, materials, and equipment operation
- Proficiency in landscape grading and site preparation (leveling, drainage, slope calculations)
- Proficiency building retaining walls (Allan block, dry stack, gravity walls boulders, masonry).
- Proficiency in paver installations (patterns, types, i.e. aqua pave)
- Proficiency in reading and executing blueprints and project specifications.
- Knowledge of irrigation installation, systems, and controllers.
- Leadership prowess with the ability to inspire and guide a team in the field.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to use MS Office and different software (LMN experience is an asset).
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
- Class 5 driver's license.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend and stoop for extended periods.
- Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.

**Compensation**

$90.000 to $102.000 a year
