The Potting Shed Flowers & Gifts is seeking a friendly, reliable, and detail-oriented **Floral Assistant** to join our team. If you enjoy working with flowers, creating beauty, and providing excellent customer service in a positive environment, we’d love to hear from you.

**Position Details**:

- **Job Title**: Floral Assistant
- **Type**: Part-time, Permanent
- **Location**: Annapolis Royal, NS
- **Schedule**: Weekdays with some weekend shifts
- **Experience**: Floral or retail experience preferred

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Cleaning buckets, tools, and work areas
- Trimming, cleaning and preparing flowers and greenery
- Assisting with organizing orders and coordinating deliveries
- Assisting with floral arrangements and displays
- Providing warm and professional customer service
- Taking customer orders in-store, online, and over the phone
- Operating the POS system accurately
- Maintaining a clean, welcoming, and organized store
- Contributing to a positive and supportive environment for customers and coworkers
- Passionate about flowers, creativity, and design
- Reliable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Able to work well both independently and as part of a team
- Maintains a positive, respectful, and harmonious attitude in the workplace
- Comfortable in a fast-paced environment
- Physically able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
