**We help companies with complex or specialized offerings figure out what to say, to whom, and why—then, we make it happen**. Our clients tend to work in industries like B2B SaaS, health technology, event management, clean energy solutions, law and finance, and digital media.

**The role**

We're looking for a contract content writer to help us create high-quality written content that keeps our clients visible and competitive in Google and LLM search.

This role starts immediately, at approximately 40-50 hours per month. The initial contract runs until **March 31st, 2026**, with the potential to continue on a part-time contract or employee basis if it's a good fit for everyone.

This is a writing-focused role, so you won’t be responsible for managing client relationships. You must also be comfortable with signing a non-disclosure and non-compete.

**Compensation**

Between $25.50-$28.50 CAD per hour. Compensation will reflect skills and experience.

**What we're looking for**
- A self-starter who takes initiative and doesn't need a lot of hand-holding
- Someone who communicates clearly and proactively (asks questions when needed, but can also take a brief and run with it)
- Attention to detail and an appreciation for clear, written communication
- Reliable deadline management and regular progress check-ins
- Willingness to implement feedback and revisions promptly
- Strong grasp of tone of voice and the ability to write in a way that connects with a specific audience
- Strong command of written English; fluency in other languages is a bonus
- Comfortable working in Google Docs, Slack, and project management tools
- AI proficiency (ChatGPT or Claude) is a must

Ultimately, we're looking for someone with good character who's a quick learner, eager to do good work, and wants to grow with a like-minded team of creatives, marketers, and strategists.

**Education & experience**

University education in English, communications, journalism, marketing, or a related field. Students are welcome to apply.

**Not required but an asset**
- Demonstrated long-form writing experience
