Retail Store Manager (12-week Contract)

Job Summary:
As the Store Manager for the Minecraft merchandise pop-up experience, you will lead the day-to-day operations of the retail footprint — ensuring sales goals are met, customers are engaged, inventory is well-managed, and team members are motivated and performing at their best. This is a dynamic, high-energy role ideal for a proven leader with retail, event, or hospitality experience and a passion for operational excellence.

Job Title: Store Manager - Minecraft Exhibit

Location: Square One Shopping Centre

Schedule: June-September 2025 (12 weeks) | Must be available 30-40 hours/week

Shift Structure: 5-7 hour shifts, 6 days/week

**Responsibilities**:
Lead all store operations, staff coordination, and client updates- Track inventory and manage restocking through our warehouse team- Deliver daily sales reports and performance insights- Motivate the team and troubleshoot on-site challenges- Maintain high standards of execution and guest experience

Skills and Qualifications:
Minimum 2-3 years in a store manager or team lead role (retail or event experience preferred)- Proven ability to lead teams and maintain high standards under pressure- Experience with POS systems (Square or equivalent)- Strong interpersonal and communication skills- Comfortable with tech tools for scheduling, messaging, and reporting- Must be available to work 30-40 hours/week for the full duration of the program- Must be able to lift boxes and assist with store setup/teardown as needed
