Agronomix Software, a leading software development company for plant breeding and agronomy, has an immediate full-time permanent opening for Network/Cloud Administrator. You will be part of a team of IT professionals located in Winnipeg, MB, who support and develop Genovix. The software is used in forty countries worldwide by plant breeders and agronomists at seed companies, universities, and government research centres.

As The Network/Cloud Administrator at Agronomix Software, Inc, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and optimizing cloud-based solutions for our clients. Leveraging your expertise in cloud technologies and architectures, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable, and resilient cloud solutions that address our clients' business challenges. You will be responsible for understanding client requirements, architecting cloud solutions, providing technical guidance, and ensuring successful implementation and deployment. Additionally, you will oversee the support for non-cloud deployments of our software and coordinate with our parent company to help them with the administration of our IT Services. This is an onsite position.

Key Responsibilities:

- Collaborate with clients to understand their business needs, technical requirements, and objectives.
- Design and upgrade end-to-end cloud solutions leveraging leading cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Citrix Cloud.
- Develop architecture blueprints, technical design documents, and implementation plans for cloud solutions.
- Help clients with IT related questions including database administration, maintenance, LAN, WAN, RDS and more.
- Perform database administration and maintenance tasks to support Agronomix development lifecycle.
- Provide technical leadership and guidance to project teams throughout the solution lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with developers, service, Sales, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with architectural standards and best practices.
- Conduct technical and security reviews of existing and innovative solutions, performance analysis, and optimization of cloud environments to ensure scalability, reliability, and security.
- Stay up to date of emerging cloud technologies, trends, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation.
- Collaborate with Cultura IT Services, sales, service, and development teams to support pre-sales activities, including local IT infrastructure, solution scoping, proposal development, and client presentations.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or related field.
- 1- 3 years experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, and Citrix.
- Certifications (AWS, Citrix) preferred.
- Advanced understanding of cloud architecture principles, including scalability, availability, security, and cost optimization.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication and people skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Proven ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Advanced expertise in cloud computing technologies, platforms, and services (IaaS, SaaS, serverless computing).
- Rapid and ongoing acquisition of knowledge.
