**Summary of Position**:Event Staff Volunteers**
Standardbred Canada's Industry Development department is seeking enthusiastic and reliable individuals to join our team for a special event taking place from August 15th to September 1st. Positions include weekday and weekend shifts in both daytime and evening hours. Team members will support event operations, engage with attendees, assist with setup and takedown, and help ensure a positive and professional experience for all visitors. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to gain experience in event coordination and customer service in a fast-paced collaborative environment.
**Required Qualifications**:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a positive, professional attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work scheduled shifts with mínimal supervision.
- Ability to take initiative and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable standing or walking for extended periods and assisting with light physical tasks (e.g., lifting signs, setting up tables).
- Previous customer service or event experience is an asset, but not required.
