**Position Overview**
Based at Cabot’s home office in Toronto, Cabot’s Communication Specialist, you will report to the Marketing Manager, and will be part of a dynamic growing team embodying Cabot’s values of confidence, authenticity, humility and warmth.

**Profile Overview**
You are a creative, service-oriented person, with a keen eye for detail who has a passion for working with text to write, edit and communicate in the voice of Cabot with an appreciation for luxury brand execution. Cabot’s Communication Specialist will have a top-notch portfolio displaying a range of editing, copywriting and communication capabilities. You have a strong work ethic with a positive, friendly approach and are open to solving new challenges that may arise in a fast-paced environment.
**Core Accountabilities**:
- Meticulous attention to detail, especially in proofreading and editing to ensure error-free content.
- Liason between internal and external agencies including media, creative and development
- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop concepts, align campaigns and overall marketing strategies.
- Liase with Brand team in the curation of communications strategy
- Liase with creative agency to input on paid advertising in both print & digital publications
**Skills**:
- Superior communication skills with grammatical accuracy.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills
- Resourceful, detail-oriented and solutions-driven
- Ability to work independently and as a part of a larger team
- Ability to manage multi-stakeholder projects and see them from concept to completion
**Education and Work Experience**
- 4+ years work experience in Marketing, Advertising, Communications, or Public Relations
- Experience working for luxury and / or hospitality brands an asset
- Experience working in fast-paced environments under pressure
