At Tofino Resort + Marina we are inspired by adventure, and we are seeking the next adventurous employee to join our team in beautiful Tofino, British Columbia. As an adventure host, you are the face of adventure at our resort, and often the first face customers see as they step off the boat or float plane, ready for adventure.
Tofino Resort + Marina is an adventure-focused resort with 63 rooms located on the waterfront. Set in the heart of town, on the water, Tofino Resort + Marina is a comfortable and capable base camp for west coast adventure. We serve the authentic Tofino experience, from fantastic food to the famous fishing of Clayoquot to the surf breaks of Long Beach. And we want you to join us.
Adventure Hosts will work out of our Adventure Centre and help frequently on the docks. If you love welcoming people and showing them a good time, this is the position for you.

- Daily POS Transactions
- Waiver completion per guest
- Harbour Air Check-in + Bookings
- Tuff Fit Gym Memberships
- Moorage Booking and checking in
- Organize and re-shelve merchandise daily, keep up to date with product knowledge
- Complete daily booking inquiries including checking in guests for tours
- Monitor VHF Radio 66Alfa, check in with boats at regular intervals
- Assist in retail inventory
- **Job Requirements/Qualifications**:_
- Grade 12 Diploma or equivalent
- Eco-tourism/marine background an asset
- Retail experience an asset
- Willingness to learn about marina operations/tours
- Cash handling experience required
- Strong sales skills
- Ability to multi-task in a busy work environment
- Customer service skills required
- Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
