This is a critical role that requires strong technical skills.
- **Duties**:_
- **Preventive Maintenance**: Execute scheduled maintenance tasks such as lubrication, calibration, and equipment inspections to prevent breakdowns and ensure optimal performance.
- **Agile Problem-Solving**: Quickly diagnose equipment malfunctions using a combination of technical knowledge and practical skills, then implement effective solutions to minimize downtime.
- **Total Productive Maintenance (TPM)**: Collaborate with production teams to implement TPM principles, including autonomous maintenance and planned maintenance, to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
- **Pneumatic Systems Knowledge**: Demonstrate proficiency in troubleshooting and maintaining pneumatic systems ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- **Automation Expertise**: Perform regular maintenance, programming adjustments, and troubleshooting on automated machinery to optimize productivity and minimize downtime.
- **HVAC and Steam Boiler Maintenance**: Conduct regular inspections, maintenance, and repairs of HVAC systems and steam boilers to uphold optimal working conditions.
- **Machinery Inspection**:Conduct thorough inspections of machinery to identify maintenance needs and proactively address potential issues before they escalate.
- **Spare Parts Management**: Maintain a comprehensive inventory of spare parts, regularly assess stock levels, and coordinate with procurement to replenish supplies as needed to avoid production delays.
- **Documentation**:Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including repairs, inspections, and parts inventory, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- **Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP)**: Adhere to GMP standards and guidelines, including proper sanitation practices, personal hygiene, and equipment maintenance protocols, to ensure product quality and safety.
- **Health and Safety Compliance**:Comply with all health and safety regulations, including lockout/tagout procedures, personal protective equipment (PPE) usage, and hazard communication, to minimize risks and promote a safe work environment.
- **Qualifications**:_
- Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a similar role.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant Engineering field.
