**Who We Are**
Our staff take great pride in providing quality service and meeting the needs of over 13,500 teachers employed in pre-kindergarten to grade twelve publicly funded schools across the province. The Member Support Center (MSC) was established to improve member responsiveness and provide a higher quality service to our members. We work as one team, supporting and celebrating each other as unique individuals. **What Is The Role**
The role of the MSC Representatives is focused on member centricity. These positions facilitate an exceptional experience through member service and administrative interactions with our members on a daily basis. They are responsible and accountable for ensuring a positive end-to-end experience for our members. They contribute positively to the Federation’s reputation guided by our purposes statement, “Working as one team to provide exceptional programs and services that support Saskatchewan teachers and their profession.”
**What You Will Do**
- Provide chat support to assist and respond to member requests.
- Access knowledgebase articles to address member needs.
- Interpret, process and assess a full range of scenarios and escalate to direct leader or appropriate work unit as required.
- Research every issue and provide appropriate solutions and/or alternatives; provide accurate information, and solve complaints and inquiries using various systems and processes.
- Assist members in navigating the Federation website for multiple purposes.
- Perform general clerical duties.
**What You Will Bring**
- One year of post-secondary education and 2-3 years of experience in providing member service support.
- Fluency in spoken and written French would be a definite asset.
- Strong listening skills and ability to assimilate information.
- Superior interpersonal and member service skills in developing and maintaining effective working relationships with all Federation staff as well as teacher members.
- Demonstrated strong client-facing and communication skills.
- Demonstrated assertiveness while also being sensitive to and considerate of the needs, feelings and concerns of others.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate and work effectively as a member of a team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure.
- In-depth knowledge of customer service software and tools.
- Proficiency in Microsoft office products.
- Strong creative, critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced troubleshooting and multi-tasking skills.
- Ability to pay attention to detail with a strong commitment to excellence.
