_Youth Mental Health Support Worker_

Are you looking for a casual or part time job working with youth to support their mental wellness? Possibilities Recovery Center has the perfect position for you at Martensville Youth Connection in Martensville, SK.

Possibilities Recovery Center is a non-profit organization whose mission is to provide opportunities for recovery from mental health and substance use disorders, and to promote positive change in not only the life of the person living with substance use, but their families as well.

Our youth mental health support workers collaborate with the team to counsel, coach, connect, and educate youth who may have experienced challenges within their life or who are looking improve their mental wellness in a safe, supportive environment.

- Shifts include Monday - Friday 4-9pm, 6-9pm, 3-9pm.
- Evenings and casual hours provide the flexibility to attend class, coordinate childcare and allow plenty of time for outside interests

Eligible applicants will possess:

- High school diploma
- Experience working with youth
- An outgoing personality with a desire to build genuine healthy attachments with youth
- The ability to work collabortively with a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independantly if needed
- Ability to display empathy, patience, and understanding in day to day interactions
- Clear criminal record check with vulnerable sector search
- Diploma in mental health and addictions or similar - not required but beneficial.
- First Aid / CPR and/or mental health first aid training is an asset
- ASIST training is an asset

Wage: Starting $16/hr without diploma, $19.25/hr with diploma

**Job Types**: Part-time, Casual

**Salary**: From $19.25 per hour

Schedule:

- Evening shift
- Monday to Friday
- No weekends
